How reliable is greatpeople?

As in, does Kroger actually care about it? I've heard wonderful things about greatpeople so I don't know how much I should trust it. I don't want to end up accidentally skipping work when I just started here.

Not reliable.

The schedule in the store is the absolute final schedule.  The schedules must be posted the Friday before the next work week starts.  If any changes were made to the eschedule from the time they were made to the time they were posted in paper, I do not think eschedule reflects the changes online.

So, always follow the paper schedule posted in the store normally in or near the break room.

Make sure you enter your availability, vacation days and personal days off on the eschedule website 2.5 weeks ahead of time tho.

Also, always take a picture of the schedule you see on Friday evening.  It is possible for old and new versions to be floating around at the same time if someone is sloppy.

very good idea.  I can imagine them changing something then screwing you when you don't show up for work (and they never told you).

And for crying out loud, communicate with your scheduler. Neither the e-schedule nor the printed paper schedule are ever correct for me. (The fact that I'm a nightcrawler might have something to do with that.) Apparently the scheduling software cannot be manually tweaked to reflect the times I actually work. And I'm lucky: I work the same hours on the same days every week. If that ever changes, my scheduler makes darn sure I know it. (We have an inventory coming up, where our shift will be 9:00pm to 5:00am, instead of 11 to 7. I'll be reminded every day from now until That Day.)

And if, on a particular day, you are not sure? Call in before deciding to blow the shift off.

Currently, I have to have a supe override the timeclock every single shift so I can clock in, because I start at 11 but schedule says midnight.

I have never, ever had an employer that managed its scheduling so incompetently.
