Hi guys my department manager has taken like 10 personal days and has been paid for them. How the hell do they give personal days to people who call out everyday. Oh yeah and the department is in a time of need with all the holiday supplies. How many personal days are people allowed to have per year
No one gets ten personal days. The most we get is four. Perhaps your department manager is taking vacation days and is just calling them personal days.

i counted 6 personal days and on top of that the constant calling out and showing up whenever. Thats why i was wondering and he already took his vacation awhile back. I don't know im just getting sick of the bs and on top of that when he comes back in he works for a day then gets the next day off. Sorry for rant im just pissed and tired of being taken advantage of
Anyone hired before 1987 here gets 8 ph days and 6 weeks vacation. I don't have a contract from back then but they might get more ph days. I know one person hired in 1970 had one extra week of vacation than a person hired after 1987. We top out at 5 weeks of vacations after 18 years.
The manager might have used FMLA for a special condition.
