Getting customers to quit asking so many questions at the end of their transaction

I have dealt with this problem before while working as a cashier at the express lane...

I ring up a customers order and bag all of their groceries.

But before the customer pays, she asks me several questions about the prices of the items she wants to pay for. A line is forming behind her, but she continues asking the same questions. A transaction that could have taken less than 5 minutes drags on and on.

What is a good way to deal with this situation?

either answer them or suspend the order and tell her to **** off to customer service.
