I am a night stocker and have a 10pm to 6am shift, nightly. My schedule for this week is as follows for the hours that I have worked (and written down on timesheets):
Sat: 10pm - 7:17am
Sun: 10pm - 6am
Mon: off
Tues: 10pm - 6am
Wed: 10pm - 6am
Thurs: 10pm - (more likely 6am... small load)
Fri: off
I went to the time clock just now and checked the inquiry for the hours I worked, and it only shows 32 hours for this week so far. I have had to fill out time sheets because the time clock always tells me that I'm clocking in too early whenever I try to clock in. So I'm guessing whoever logs my time sheets purposely did not include my overtime? Do I confront the assistant manager? Or the union? Or?
talk to your payroll person. it could be kronos malfunctioning as unfortunately it does that very often. my hours get shorted constantly. but after a quick talk with the payroll lady, i get my hours fixed asap. not paying you for hours that you worked is illegal so they'll be more than obliged to help you.

Every time you clock out after your shift, hit inquiry and make sure your hours are correct. It's a lot easier to get your hours fixed if you catch it the same day or next day than waiting until next week. Sometimes I have had my OT not added too which I thought was intentional since I know management and Kroger deliberately tries to steal OT from people if they think they can get away with it. Unfortunately for them I always check my hours everyday I work and write in the sheet if there is a problem. If by mid morning the next time I come into work it isn't fixed I go talk to management.
You will have a lot less problems with your hours being incorrect if you are watchful.
