I just transfered to another kroger to become full time. I am a meat processor. I used to be a part time meat clerk at my old store working 28 hours. Now I work a full 40 hours. I was wondering is it possible to work at my old store on my days off for 2 days a week ? 16 hours it would be. 2 8 hour shifts. So basically working at 2 kroger's at once. i have 2 years of experience.
I wish that was a thing. i would totally ask to be part time at my old store, like 1 day a week.
I actually WAS doing that right after i got promoted to my new store and honestly that was a Kronos disaster, no one ever knew how to code in the hours and which store to pay out what, and then overtime got involved, and the wrong store would get charged the OT, the two store managers were in communication but it was crazy. I had to stop eventually because the OT was getting out of hand. But those were some nice checks.
It is possible to do that, but it would be overtime. There is a big store that is short on people and they dont care about overtime. They said I can work over there all the time. Just let your store management know, so they charge the other store the overtime.
