The next few days are going to be awful in the bakery and deli with all the Derby parties going on. At least that's how it's going to be here in Louisville. The rest of the country probably doesn't care. Does your city or state have an annual event the rest of the country doesn't really participate in?
Sorry to hear that about the Derby situation. As for my store participating in particular events that others don't. I'll have to ask and see. But as far as I know of now we don't. I don't even think we are doing anything for Mother's Day, which is really strange. Cause our pastry chef, said that we made a lot of money off her chocolate dipped stuff for Valentine's day. So why nothing for Mother's Day? No clue.
