Current Job Step 500
Permalink

My hubby works for Kroger. His current job step is 500. What does that mean? Is he topped out? He has 500 hours left for a raise? He had his last raise a year ago. I was looking for his next one blankstare. I work for the school and am on summer break. That little bit sure would help...

I work for the King Sooper division of Kroger and am topped out for my position at step 500.

Hope this helps.

Current Job Step of 500 means no more raises are coming. In my division, courtesy clerks have 500 list as their Current Job Step because they don't get raises.

I dont think 500 means you are maxed out. I just went from 500 to 1000 and it was a pretty decent raise

What is you job title? I'm currently at job step 500 as a courtesy clerk. The date marking completion of my first year is coming up. Do Courtesy Clerks get any type of raise after one year? If so, what is it based on? Hours worked or something else?

job step 500 has always been top out pay for a given position unless they've recently changed it.

Step 500 is the top out rate, at least it is in Cincy division.

Of course you were looking for his raise. Your hubby should get you a summer job at Kroger.
