But I regret leaving the bakery for the deli I thought the bakery sucked but man man the bakery is a whole lot better than the deli these asshats always have me closing by myself because employees with more seniority don't want to close and I'm a nice guy so whenever someone is alone and the call on my day off I come in to help because that's ****ed to close alone but nobody ever has my back when I'm alone now I'm just going to try to get back into the bakery **** if I care if someone has to close alone they'd do it to me so **** them.

In the last 6 months I've closed the Deli by myself at least twice a week. I've also closed the Deli and been left to take care of customers in the Bakery by myself at least twice a month. As long as first shift cleans up there mess it isn't that bad, but if they don't it sucks.

I haven't closed in Deli by myself before. But I'm on a streak of closing in the bakery on my own. It is definitely a doozy sometimes to say the least. Most especially when customers come in cause their cake was messed up or something.

Deli is pretty much a death sentence. If you're a good worker, you'll likely be stuck there, especially if you have a high tolerance for BS. Closing is by far the worst shift in the deli, and all the senior people know this. Especially at the standards Kroger demands, all the while taking care of our customers.
