Can someone please tell me the accurate coupon policy for Kroger company is 4 or 5 some people have said 10. Please lay it out on Catalina, Store, MFR and Digital Coupons. What is meant by do not Double is it that you can't use the same store coupon twice or is it you can't use in combination with another store coupon. Let me know peeps.blankstareblankstare

Do not double would refer to the face value of the coupon.  Id the coupon is for 50 cents, for example, some stores would double it to $1.00

cant use two coupons for one item, (ex a digital coupon AND a paper coupon)

at my store its 5 like coupons, so they can buy 5 cheerios and use 5 coupons that are similar (50c off for example), but anything after that they cannot.
but all stores are a bit different. you have to ask your CSM.

The Coupon Policy is something that isn't really policy....just "Guidelines" just like EVERY OTHER policy Kroger has. I have had customer call 1-800-Kroger and I have gotten in trouble because I went with a stated policy! Coupons know every trick in the book to get an extra $1 discount! If you have a extreme couponer, I would say 70% of them during Buy 5 Save 5 are pulling something over on you !

I even had someone tell me our policy was to take coupons 30 days expired!!

Policy:
5 Like Coupons
Coupons can not be expired
Coupon has to be for the item actually stated
Store Coupon and MGR Coupon can be excepted together for same item!
(Catalina could be a Store Coupon or MGR Coupon (Store Coupons UPC start with 0100000XXXXX, MGR 5XXXXXXXXXX or Stacked Barcode)
Coupons must scan an not look altered

Internet Coupons are the biggest issue, I have seen the same coupon printed copied 100 times (Internet Coupons (Coupons.com) have serial numbers in the upper right area...same serial number...copied coupon)

While we might not lose money on these coupons, they do cause issues with Shelf Conditions, Normal Customer purchasing the items and FE Staff (Couponers have multiple transations)

Can they use five of the same coupons for one type of items. Like five 50 cent coupons, and then use five more coupons for a different item, like five $1.00 off coupons for let's say Apple juice, in the same transaction?  So then it would be 10 coupons total for that one transaction,  with 2 different sets of coupons. Or is it just 5 coupons per transaction, no matter what?

Doubling coupons is some strange process that I've never come across. I believe it has something to do with having multiple of the same coupons?

Regardless, the basics you should know about coupons is: unless otherwise specified on the coupon, we can take up to 5 of the same coupons.
Some coupons have terms in small print stating that only so many identical coupons can be used. (Commonly, no more than 2 identical coupons)
From my understanding any slight differences in coupons, different pictures, expiration date, etc. does not break the rule.

One coupon per item, this includes e-coupons.
They can use however many coupons they want as long as: you use no more than 5 of the same coupons (again unless otherwise specified), they are not expired, they match the item and size detailed, and are not fake.
