As long as kroger has the broken bottle to return it can get credit from the vendor so the replacement isnt really free in a legal sense. Management should know how to handle this.
I thought they would just exchanged it for another one. Like if you paid for something and didn't get it when you were checking out/left the store.
As I think that is what happened to a customer that had just paid for her wine at the liquor store and soon as she came out of the doors, she either dropped it or broke some how or other. And so they just took her back in there and swapped it out I think.
If it breaks in the store, yes
If it breaks in our lot, yes...IF and ONLY IF the customer comes right back in 5 minutes after it broke, 10 min tops. Any laterbgets you a "Sorry, we are unable (will not) get you a replacement bottle
