Does anyone actually use yammer?

Nope.

I refuse to even use facebook, twitter or other types of social media.

I will glance at yammer posts every once in a while at home or receive updates in my company email.

Other than that, I do not post to yammer.

I refuse to believe any of the posts made on Yammer come from actual Kroger employees.

No one could possibly be that happy working for Kroger.

I am happily employed at Kroger. Paid well and treated well by management.

Yah, the posts do seem a bit giddy for an average Kroger employee.

I don't have spare time to post on yammer while on the clock. I got too much work to get done.

I have no idea even how to use Yammer. Even if I did, I don't feel like posting on a social site owned by my employer. The website itself all seems full of fake company pride anyways. Nobody gives a ****.

I've snooped around on it but that's it. I'm not going to post fake Kroger pride on there. No one can be that happy. Lol

Hi Anonymouse1 ........ Actually, I completely understand your attitude toward Facebook and most social media. However, I will make a suggestion here.......... I think twitter is very useful, IF you use it only in certain ways. I have been on twitter for several years. I rarely post on twitter, just once in a while. I have very few 'followers' but that doesn't really matter to me.

Twitter is most useful if you are a follower of various news channels, reporters, news anchors, meteorologists, etc. I follow several dozen of these sources, and when I go on my lunch break I pull up Twitter and get a good mix/ cross-section of latest news and stuff going on. For example, I will get the latest tweets from ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, the local weather updates, any major breaking news stories, comments from various anchors like David Muir, what Trump has tweeted in the last few hours, what is going on with the latest storm or hurricane (if any) . I do not follow or "subscribe" to anyone I actually know personally...........that is the source of so much 'drama' when you do so.

So I use Twitter as my own personal local/national/world news feed, and it is well worth it. Just a suggestion.

I don't use it because it requires registration and there is a policy on their Terms of Service that Kroger can monitor the posts. Too risky to use and what I say when I am at home and off the clock is none of their business. This site is more unfiltered. And I can stay anonymous.

I actually do, but I don't post much at all. I do however seem to recognize a certain user on Yodel / Yammer that has an account but also has the same exact posts on here (Kroger Sucks) as well. Won't mention names, but damn buddy, if that is you, you've got some balls.
