OSAT and Quevision making people step down
Permalink

Our FEM and all 4 Service Managers told the boss today they are all stepping down because of being blamed for poor Quevision and OSAT scores. WOW! I heard a few days ago that they were plotting this move because our boss is all over them. They were tired of the BS! Apparently another store down the road is doing the same. We all know each other. The DM was coming in this afternoon and HR was called also. If the other store does this also, that means 10 front end managers, ServiceMgrs. are stepping down. They didn't even tell the union rep!!!!!  This is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are already in the checkstands. Kroger policies have killed our stores and morale. Im a cashier and I love it. Whenever a customer has a complaint I just point to the boss in the checkstand. I get my hours. I don't care anymore.

Nobody to run the front anymore at these two stores!! Nobody wants that job

I really think Upper Management is seeing store staffing is an issue, I know of a few FE Managers stepping down and with no one to replace them! Everyone has been told they are replaceable.........guess what... They are not in this labor market!

Wow that is awesome!! More of this might be happening soon too with the announcement of the thanksgiving holiday store walks. We're really expected to be at perfect condition for these idiots with staffing the way it is?

OP here. Schedule is out and we are getting a newly promoted FEM, 19 yr old!!!! We are getting 3 service managers from other stores. I knoe them all, but they are very young and inexperienced. The store down the road, who did the same thing, just texted me. They are only getting 2 service mgrs. from the other district, no FEM yet.

HR is coming in today. HR went to the other store to interview about the situation. Nobody threw the store mgr under the bus, but basically the culture of the district mgr and corporate policies.

Store Managers are always the scapegoats on a lot of stuff, but they are simply following directions. The company culture is to design a program in the office and then instruct everyone to perform the task. If the company wants to be collaborative, why not design a program to better include a number of store associates into the process.

Now they're about giving stores that are struggling and doing the best they can with what they've got, bad scores to get rid of the decent store managers to promote their corporate buddies instead.
