Like for example, a customer has scanned all their items, but they have not scanned their plus card or don't have one. Is there a way to tell, just by looking at the screen of scanned items that certain items have a discount associated with them?
I know that there are these weird characters that are attached to each line that corresponds to each item scanned. Like I already know that the "T" and "F" besides the price means non-food and food and that "SC" means scanned coupon. What I don't know are other characters like sometimes I see "PC" next to the item's name or a "<+"
If there is a PC next to it, it's either on sale or buy one, get one free with a plus card and if there is a <+ next to it, it's part of the buy 5, save 5 deal.
Mr. Frontenac, you will see a PC or +> behind the description of the items on sale with the plus card or with some type of Mega Sale. Letters behind the price indicated if items are taxable, F = Food(No Tax), B = Food Item but Taxed, X = RX Flex Spend Item, T= Taxable Item, No Letter = Prepared Food item (Most likely sold Hot) or Holistic item unable to be paid with SNAP.
