How do you see your contract?

Many answers on here are something to the tune of "check your contract." IDK where the heck to find my contract. Can anyone enlighten me?

I guess I should clarify: I work at a non-union store. Do I have a contract? Or do the bozos upstairs make this sh** up as they go

"Contracts" refer to Union Contracts for Union-Stores. You most likely would just need to know your Associates Handbook/Store Rules if your Non-Union. While some stores are fun like the Wildwest, Calling KMA KR normally keeps Store Management in check on most "Gray Areas". For Union Stores, Union Handbook and Associate Handbook are the rules.

It's basically a secret document.

It's not in either the store's nor the union's interests for you to know your rights.

If you know your rights, you will certainly start bothering the union.  That could interrupt chair spinning or even naptime.  They can't have that.

If you know your rights, you will also certainly start bothering your store.  That's no good either.

So why should either of them allow you access to it?

Call your local Union and ask them to leave a contract at your store in your department with your name on it! They should do that with no problem.
