i have a question my managers can't or won't answer. When the case per aisle sheet says an aisle should take 4 hours to work does that include the time it takes to scan repack and stack the back stock?
my boss tells me to subtract the time working backstock, breaks, baler, etc from my time sheets. basically, we only are told to record the time we spend throwing cases. i personally think the time sheet bs is ridiculous, but I just play the game and do what i'm told.
The times are wrong. It shows more time than it should take.
The time on the form is for throwing stock only. It does not include conditioning, sorting, baler, scanning backstock, ordering, breaks, or any other tasks you do.
Count your cases because that is wrong too. Generally, you are supposed to throw 60 cases an hour of grocery and 45 cases an hour of Kmp. A seasoned employee can hit 55 cases an hour easily.
We are not given time to sort and break down pallets per corporate times. We are suppoed to be running directly off pallets because they are "aisle friendly". My store manager allows us 4 hours for each truck even tho it takes longer.
