Really why would Amazon want Kroger. if they did that would make Amazon a monopoly because Kroger is the largest grocery retail in the USA. all The rumors in the news is junk and not true. Thats like Walmart wanting to buy kroger.

Nah.  Kroger is too big, has too much inertia, and has too much union involvement.

And apparently top Kroger management is bitterly opposed. They will fight to the death, and have warded off prior attempts by other organizations. (According to my grocery manager.)

Newspaper is not a proper noun.  So there's no need to capitalize it unless of course it's the first word of a sentence or there's an actual newspaper called, "Newspaper".

To the resident Krogerforum grammar expert (retired teacher and part-time Kroger employee???) actually I have noticed some Americans enjoy capitalizing some nouns when writing emails, etc, and I think it is a way of adding a bit of enphasis to those words (for one reason or other).

Also, although in English it is not considered  quite "proper", if we were German we would capitalize all (or most) nouns. That is standard procedure in the German written language.

But we're not German.  So there's really no point in making that statement
