Okay So everyone was so excited to see an employee get fired a few months ago because they falsified temp logs. It has happened again by another employee. Because this employee is good friends with the head of the department the temp logs for the week has mysteriously disappeared. Everyone is talking about the missing temp log like and acting is if another employee is at fault or in trouble. They are even saying management has this temp log. I've asked management and they didn't even know the temp log was missing. I mean really! "How can they get away with this?" Don't they realize the missing log will be questioned? How long do they think they can cover this up?
Stop getting 'excited' when someone is fired. Always keep in mind, that you could be next. No one is perfect & if Kroger wants someone gone, they will simply keep watch until they find a reason. Nothing to get 'excited' about!
I kind of agree. While I know deli temp logs are VERY important and can result in termination, I fail to see how you'd be happy this person was fired for it when all that means is that your dept would be more understaffed than it was before.
Any more, they're finding any reason to get rid of people, even store management has gotten fired over these temp logs.
It's called favoritism and oppression.I had a coworker harass me for several years.Management kept favoring him and I got ****ted on for trying to stand up for my self.No justice.
You must be from a very slow store. No one has time for all the cooler checks. Checking if food is done..yes. but all the other is almost impossoble.
Fast alert covers most of the coolers. Meat department has special logs they have to sign off on. The Deli might have similar logs to sign off on. ecoli and all.
