Frozen, you order and stock the items. Meat your having to deal with food safety, cutting meat, ordering, customer requests, shrink, freshness, cleaning...along with all the other stuff that just comes up.
Both suck at my store. The night manager here is like a slave worker. He demands more and more with no slack. I'm tired of it all honestly. Frozen wouldn't be bad if it wasn't for management.
I am in frozen. In addition to ordering I am responsible for going through every pallet and making sure my stuff is off even if it is mostly bakery etc on top. Also I have to stock ice and make sure the freezer is clean even if my stuff is organized. It doesn't matter. My problem even if it isn't my backstock in the way. I waste countless hours restacking and reorganizing other departments crap. Oh and I have no help ever.
