Around here it seems like many dept heads and co managers get moved around once a year. But others get to stay for a long time.

Store managers generally have a say when they want to leave. Sometimes if theyre performing poorly they will be moved.

Co-managers seem to get moved yearly, usually not at a store for two years.

Department heads have to accept a position at another store or be forced out of their position due to performance, really.

Just speaking from my observations.

Dept heads don't get moved where im at, unless there is an opening at a another store they would like to go to.

Recently Manager have been being moved over and over again, Department Heads normally do not get moved unless there is a personality/performance issue with STR MGMT.

Really? It seems we in deli/bakery get moved around quite a lot. I've only been at my current store since August, and was in my first store for a year before that, although I did go to a larger volume store. Maybe it depends on the coordinator.

Co-managers, especially new ones, get switched around a lot so they gain experience working in different store environments.
