So today was the last day of the quarter for the fresh and friendly bonus.I'm positive pur store gets a bonus I think like 40 cents per hour worked in this quarter. I'm wondering when they will be paying us for that? Will it be on the next check? Or a separate check? Or does it take longer than a week or so?
It's usually a whole new separate check. That Fresh and friendly bonus money never ends up on your regular paycheck. Ask your HR manager when your payout will be.
In my division it only includes dept heads. If you reach your friendmy and fresh goal for your dept every 6 months u get a bonus. Very unattainable running a skeleton crew or with new hires.
If we make it at all. It's as common to miss it completely as get anything.
And then, usually it's not much. I'll take $27 for free, sure. It gets me thinking about how much I might be making if I had a real job, though.
It's completely opaque where the numbers come from. It doesn't feel terribly motivating.
If anything, made up numbers and and the occasional handful of peanuts feels a little demotivating. Oh well. $27 can buy a nice bottle of booze. If we make it. Or two plastic jugs of terrible booze.
Yeah it's a mystery where the numbers come from they said the survey's but our manager and district manager said it's not just surveys. Whatever. We got the bonus once for 18 cents an hour and then they raised the fresh and friendly scores needed to get it .
Every since that bonus they always tell us we're going to get the bonus all the way till the last week or so and then (surprise!) Our scores drop and we just barely miss getting the bonus.
It's like that commercial "oops almost had it. Ya gotta be quicker than that." Maybe next time
