Have worked at Kroger for five years fem refusing to add a day to my schedule?

Front end manager angry because I don't hang all over her all day or gossip with her or allow her to bully me. I work 16 hours, and opened my availability to work one more day, and she's trying to use the excuse that the Union said she is not obligated to give me more than the minimum I Southwest division. However not only am I a consistent high performer for years, I have also been recognized for customer service. This fem is very low intelligence, and seems to be under the influence most of the time at work. I recently reported her to my store manager about her inappropriate behavior towards women, and since then her and other managers, and supervisors have been retaliating. Which is against the law. I should be getting more hours, and she is not scheduling me and not allowing me to talk to the store manager about it. Her and a co manager refused to transfer me to the store manager when I called and asked to speak to him. What's your advice on handling the scheduling issue. They do have the hours to give. But I will not do inappropriate things to get more hours. I will not hang on to another woman for anything. I do not do that type of thing. But this CSM is obviously closeted.

i dont believe that she is obligated to give you more hours just because you have more availability.

Call and speak to your union rep yourself.

How many hours you get depends on your contract.  My contract may be different.

Full timers get the hours first.  40 hours/week each.

Part timers get hours based on availability and seniority and what is left over after all the full timers get their hours.

I imagine open availability can get more hours than a person with limited availability.

Ask your district union rep.  Don't ask the shop steward.

Oh, you mean she stands and physically bars the door to your store manager's office?  Any co-worker CANNOT keep you from discussing things with the manager if you REALLY want to.
