Can anyone tell me how my pay will be affected? I am topped out as a deli clerk right now at 15.35 I think...how will this as well as my seniority differ from Kroger to King Soopers?
Being its a different Union, most likely your seniority will disappear, but you will keep your hire date and weeks of vacation. While transferring inside the company is basic and just submitting a request and calling around to find a store, its the Union parts that are difficult at times, since wages/benefits are not company wide. But if hiring is the same there......seniority might not be an issue.
Seniority will disapppear. Your current hire date will only be good as far as vacation schedule goes. We had a lady transfer from Cincinatti division to Columbus and she lost her seniority.
