Does a new contract only need 51% to say Yes or is there a certain minimum percentage needed for it to be ratified.

The union is crooked and only concerned with lining their own pockets. Even if the majority vote NO, the union will say 60% or more voted YES. When's the last time you've heard of a Kroger being on strike? Very rarely these days. Are recent contracts just that much better than those in the past, that employees are now so happy and satisfied with their contracts, that as a majority they vote YES on said contracts? The opinions expressed daily on this forum suggest otherwise.

 Solid points. Also, the fact that less and less memebers show up to union functions or bother themselves with the voting process doesn't really help their cause, either..
