The end times are upon us. Sweet red Northwest cherries will soon be out of season, and will not return until the next Summer solstice.
My tribe has relied on Northwest sweet red cherries for centuries, and we are now forced to rinse and freeze them. But I don't think the pies and sauces will last us through the fall. I fear this may be the end of our people and our way of life. Without the red northwest sweet cherries, we will starve and die off.
My children asked me if the Northwest red sweet cherries will come back. I didn't have the heart to tell them the truth.

I cut down all the damn cherry trees no more cherry's every again.
Well, OK, BUT please don't cut down any of our beautiful FLOWERING cherries, such as the Japanese KWANZAN and YOSHINO cherry trees. That would be a shame!!!!!!!!!
Thats all good... but then you find out Kroger will start obsessing about another fruit/vegetable product in produce.
And cherries cannot be "killed." They can only be stopped Temporarily. Until next time
