How about 'Food Store Redemption'?

We have had several stores close in such a short time period. There are shows out there that help restaurants, bars, and other businesses. Why not one that rescues Food Stores? I know Our store needs someone like Robert Irvine, Gordon Ramsey, or Jon Taffer walking in and setting things straight with managers and leads. I would be willing to get yelled at by anyone willing to save these stores. Mainly because they would just say what I've been saying from the beginning. Stop listening to the gossip and pay attention to what is really wrong. Put new people in charge or retrain the ones you have in charge. Management, do your job and make the others do theirs.

Taffer: YOU NEED TO FIRE THIS MAN NOW!

Manager: I can't, he's union

*Taffer proceeds to throw cans of green beans across the backroom*

The reason those shows work is the establishments are small and it's easy to get rid of bad apples. Can't get rid of bad apples at Kroger; they just rot for 30-40 years until they retire and draw a pension.

I get your point there, but we still need someone higher up to come in and see what is being ignored and what is being addressed. It's all wrong.

"Why is this department such a mess?  Why isn't there even an employee here?"

"We aren't willing to innovate, so we just cut hours.  It keeps the shareholders temporarily happy at the expense of sustainability."

"Oh."

--------------------------------

"What.  The.  Hell.  Are.  You.  Doing!?!??!?"

"I'm only here because my dad's making me work.  Fire me.  Walmart pays better anyways."

"You're fired!"

"Actually, you know what?  I've always wanted to try this: I invoke my Weingarten Rights."

"****."

---------------------------------

"HOLY ****, WHO LOADED THIS PALLET?!?!?!?"

"I dunno; it's not that bad.  It's probably just because of insane efficiency goals at the warehouse or something.  The ones last week were all half crushed, dripping, and falling over.  We had to use the power jack on a bunch of them.  Too bad none of us are trained."

"WUT?!??"

"Look; what are we supposed to do here?  Sit around until Billy comes back from the weekend?  Kroger's buying a bunch of robot warehouses or something, alright?"
