ive been getting yelled at /harassed while doing my job on front end by a customer, i mainly just leave or ignore him when he's near but this time he made a comment about my appearance (talking about my behind). I notified store manager and he had a talk with the customer... he put the blame on both of us because i dont provide good customer service to him but he knows the guys an *******. If this guy continues should I get union involved or go straight through corporate to get him to ban the customer? I'm not the only female he has harassed but not sure the cases with the others.

I think by this point even a lot of WOMEN are sick of this 'Me-Too'-er sh!t, this business of putting cases and paperwork on anyone and everybody who offends you. The world is full of jackasses, deal with it.
he'll go to the self scan (where i work) and try to make me do everything for him when there's 5 lanes open (and free). One time I tried to show him how he can put in stuff for himself and he told me it was my job, and that he pays my wages. So I told him it's self check out, youre welcome to go to the actual lanes. He still argued with me that he pays my wages so basically his slave. I told him i'd no longer serve him and I walked away from the situation (my supervisor was behind me and said I handled it correctly). Since then he keeps coming to self service when I'm there and yell at me (especially when i'm walking away to give the station to someone else, i'm trained to walk away). This time I saw him and went behind a register to look at something and he went past me and said "Oh isnt it my favorite kroger employeee, can't fit your ass in your pants today huh?" (i have a bigger butt for my small size).
My store manager has heard him in the past talking down to women and does nothing about it. He said if he says one more thing to me that he will talk to him again but as much as I respect my store manager, that to me isn't the correct way to handle it. Granted this is the first time I talked to him about it but I have mentioned him in the past to the co managers and no one seems to care.

I would ignore him like he doesnt even exist whether he asks for help says hello anything just ignore. if a manager cries about it tell him tough **** I wont help some piece of **** who talks **** to me period

Same thing happened to my sister. This guy kept making inappropriate comments and management nothing. So she got me and my brother in law to 'talk' to this guy. (Basically saying that if he said one more wrong thing to her, wed beat the sh*t out of him.
Let's just say hes been 100% respectful after that. (Incident did not happen at my store)
Nasty, threatening, harassing behavior by anyone against employees is seen by kroger as an opportunity to intimidate. Kroger is a gang of racketteers so those are the rules they apply. To the union and the cops and chicken co-workers thanks for nothing.
