We have a stocker in our store who sticks items in wrong place, stocks incorrectly, leaves cases in floor when he can't find something and just loves to start drama and refuses to work overtime. What else does it take to convince management the guy needs moved?

Maybe you should just transfer yourself. Just do your job loser and stop wasting time being a busy body!

I'm guessing since you are defending this person you must be a slacker and moron like him. I do my job and do it correctly. It makes it more difficult for customers to find items and for employees to stock quickly and correctly when people like him do this crap.

I get your first first points but the last point... you cant fault someone for wanting to work as scheduled. You have no idea what they have planned for the day. Even if you did, its none of your business. Kroger is not everything and should never be considered as such.

I know that people have schedules, but the job we do you're supposed to have open availability. If you need something that has the hours to work around and only need you short periods jobs such as s bagging, cashier, etc, are for them. They even stated that when I interviewed before I was hired. The errors and slacking off are the main things, that's just an additional point

No one should be forced to do overtime they don't want. Open availability does not mean you have to work overtime. It means you should be available to work most hours of the day, not that you have to stay extra.

Like I said that availabilty was just an additional point to how useless he is when you need it

It sounds like you work nights. Management, when it comes to nights, are lazy. They dont really like to think about the shift at all, let alone deal with its problems. If I were you, or your lead, Id talk to another dept and convince them that they want the guy, or at least ask if theyll take him. Maybe be nice to the guy and convince him that he wants a less stress dept. maybe ******* him out of the store. It sounds to me that your management may be blaming the lead for bad leadership rather than the employee for bad work. Either way... tell them hes crippling the crews productivity. If they do nothing, force him out. If you cant... well, you may be stuck with him for a while.

There are csmeras i assume. If management is doing their job correctly, he can and WILL be caught. However, you CANNOT force ANYONE to work overtime. EVEN MANAGEMENT CANNOT do that (depending on your contract however). Just do your job and let him struggle. Dont clean up behind him and do his work.

So you wasted all that time taking notes down like a sniveling snitch when you should have been picking up behind them or maybe instruct them on the proper way. You sound lazier than the accused.

Did you not understand the message? I have cleaned up after him, given advice, and told management about it. None of that worked. Why do you think my last sentence is "What else does it take to convince management the guy needs to be moved? He was trained by the department head just like everyone else so he knows the right way to do it.  He is just lazy.

Time to get your hands dirty then. Take pictures with your phone with his laziness at hand show them to the dept head and say this is why the isles look like ****. Don't help out either by taking on his load. Just do your **** you don't need to add more to your load.

Why should i have to clean up after another person? Are they kids? No.

Or maybe YOU could STFU and clean it if bugs you so much.
