Scheduling and screw ups
Permalink

I'm three weeks new and realized a couple days in that my store is a cluster. I've asked four different people who might be writing my schedule and I've gotten four different answers - none of which is correct.  I need specific days off in the future and, since I'm new, I can't put them into e-schedule.  Awesome.

So... are all Kroger stores this screwed up?

Just about. Find a co manager and let them know.

No.  Many are worse.

You must have an Employee User IDentification number which you use to clock in.  That should also get you into eSchedule.

What's your department head telling you?

It's kind of astounding what passes for normal at this company.

Lovely. Thanks for the insight.

(My department lead tells me my co-manager is supposed to write the schedule but doesn't know how, so someone else does it.)

What department? Department heads should be writing schedules, not co-managers....and what kind of co doesn't know how to run e-schedule?

Department heads should be writing schedules, not co-managers.

Tell that to the micro-managing store director who writes or rides herd on all this store's schedules.
