Back in the older days of paper food stamps blacks would come in buy a 20 cent piece of candy x3 and use the change they got back to buy a pack of cigs or a 40 oz. Great way to abuse assistance.
Black people are super slow. I mean, like it's on purpose. Black people are at least tied with elderly white women for slow checkouts. A lot of the time I get the side-eye, as though they resent whitey making them pay for groceries.
Black people love to start to check out while their family is still shopping, and make me wait. For the most part, we are on target with Quevision and have short waits, so it's really obnoxious, backs up the lines, and ruins my CCG's.
Occasionally they do this at SCO. I've seen them do it without even starting an order. It's hilarious to watch them tell other customers they can't use an unoccupied machine.

Black people are responsible for most of the litter in the parking lot. I've watched them do it. Always black. I wonder if it's a passive-aggressive race thing or a culture thing.
Black people absolutely love the electric carts. Otherwise healthy looking black people of all ages drive them around all day. For all the other races, it's only the injured, crippled, obese, elderly, or some unfortunate combination thereof. Some black people drive the electric carts out to the bus stop and just drive them in circles until the bus gets there.
Black people tend to let their children graze freely. They let them carry around stuffed animals, toys, fancy expensive singing balloons, or candy for the whole trip, and let them walk right out of the store with it.
Black people love to throw go-backs everywhere, and especially in the checkout lanes. Cold items, hot items, half eaten items, everything. I've watched black people ditch popsicles and frozen hamburgers before. If I'm working SCO, I have to watch for black people since every single one leaves at least a few go-backs I need to round up.
Black people... don't like fried chicken and watermelon all that much. I would say that Hispanics buy at least two or three times as much fried chicken and watermelon as black people. Black people do really love greens and fry a lot of fish, though.

Before I started working here, I never really knew black people. When I was growing up, there weren't any on my side of town, and I didn't go to school with any of them. I figured they were people, just like any other people, that racism was bad, blah blah blah.
One of them was having a discussion with a courtesy clerk about how much getting a job reduced their EBT, and how awful that was.
Except, I thought to myself, shouldn't getting a job reduce your EBT? As a grown person, shouldn't you be able to feed yourself? And what do you even do all day without a job? How did you even pay for anything? Oh, right...
I don't know. There's just some really different, weird (and dysfunctional) cultural stuff going on.
