Oh boy, I hope this is true. Im gonna have to dig on this
i heard people talking about this at work today, let us know what you find. district 2 has been a mess for the past 2-3 years and people are treated worse and worse everyday. at my work our store manager treats people worse than inmates, it's sickening.
District 1 isn't any better guys, i know someone who's on a "corrective action plan" and is at risk of losing her job for being a bad dept. head, when they have her trying to run a bakery dept on 3 people all the time.

But whats going on in D2?
Oh, Im not saying any district is in betteror worse shape than district 2, as I have absolutely no knowledge on what stores are even in d1, let alone the details of the stores or the coordinators. Please dont think Im trying to say other districts problems pale in comparison... Kroger corporate is a **** show, and those arms stretch outside of any one district or division.
However, there are quite a few cos and store managers who have had sexual harassment accusations in D2 at past stores and were simply moved to another. Heck, I work with 3 of them, which leads to a delayed response if there is any at all to any sexual harassment issues between associates.
Im not sure whats going on at Stroop but what I do know is our coordinators are garbage and think theyre too good for gods *******, so they do not, in any way, take store level associates seriously. Brandon was grocery and was good and Jen was meat and was... alright I guess. Unfortunately they both stepped down to be store managers. The rest were just about useless, which lead to a whole lot of store managers and cos getting their heads up their ass and getting away with **** for far too long. Which then lead to a bit of a hammer falling down. That sweet sweet OT hammer.
Which THEN lead to all of said cos and store managers taking it out directly on the employees. Then a mass exodus of long time employees and dpt leaders, which is still going on. Lebanon store manager apparently walked out the other day After 45 years. Most ****ty people stayed, only a few good ones stayed. Now the entire district is pretty untrained, especially in comparison to 5 years ago. At least this year with the wage hike we at least stand a quarter of a chance of getting through the holidays. Last year was a serious wreck. A SERIOUS wreck.
but yeah.
Apparently only 3 of the stores are getting things done on time in our district. 3 more than I expected.
but the good news is apparently district 6 is finally starting to get the same bs the rest of us have been dealing with for the past few years.
Mr. Burke was the store manager at St. Mary's and he got fired a few months ago. He was one of the nicest managers you could ever meet, he cared about his employees and his store (I didn't work with him at 910 but i had him as a co before). He got railroaded and i'm still not even completely sure the reason why. But people like him get fired while the terrible ones stay.
My current store manager (i won't say his name because it'll give away who i am) has had sexual harassment accusations in the past too, from people in multiple stores. He's still here. NO one cares for him, i actually get along with him better than quite a few of the people here. My store, while being in a smaller town, has a bad reputation in the district, no one wants to come here. I was told to refuse it if i was given this store, because of him.
D1 is a wide area, btw, we range from St. Marys/Troy/Piqua/Sidney/Greenville/Eaton, down to some of the Dayton stores, including Wayne/Needmore/Seibenthaler, Huber, Miamisburg, Vandalia, Englewood, Middletown, not sure what else i'm forgetting.
i heard a phone line was setup, anyone know the number? ive been through hell with the current leadership hiding their favorites instead of firing them, just to promote them even higher once the smoke clears. looks like its all caught up now though. thank god. because it is getting to be like a war zone here in district 2.

Wasnt there a gay kid running the store and couldn't handle it and stepped down.
The store manager of Fairborn was charged with domestic assault and plea-bargain it down to a disorderly conduct standard procedure. This all happened before he was a store manager so if you think Kroger cares about women's rights in this me to movement I got a bridge to sell you in China.

Not sure about that one. There was a co manager at one time named Jerrod, i think he might have went to 910 at one point? But i'm not sure. I know Greg Smith is their manager now.

We probably shouldn't be using people's real names but it's funny these store mangers that go to being co-ordinaters because they F'ed up. There's been a lot of that going on at Kroger.
