You guys ever look at the Google reviews for your store?

Very interesting stuff. Specially all the negative ones.

Saw one review from a guy who said our store doesn't cater to the handicapped. Basically cause we don't have any working electric carts.

Saw another about employees standing around the Uscan, chatting away, while they waited.

Holy crap. Someone left a review about me. Good thing it was a positive review.

Yeah, i've done that before for all the stores i've worked at. It's good to see positive reviews, but i'm always afraid of finding bad comments about me/my department on there. lol

I did at one point. Most of them were about what you would expect, except for one.

It was someone complaining that we don't hire black people and are racist because they didn't see enough black employees on the floor.

The thing is, this is a suburb that's predominantly white or latin(o/a). You can't throw a rock without hitting your local Kroger in this city. Our employees are pretty representative of the local ethnic mix, and you aren't going to see a lot of people driving more than a few miles to work at a Kroger in the current job market when they likely have one close to home. Even if we hired every black person who applied-- which, given our hiring needs, we probably do!-- we'd still by far have a light-skinned majority.

I just read the reviews.  It was fairly entertaining.

I'm actually a bit surprised that so many people like our store, and that they like it so much.  The negative reviews were mostly on point, but there weren't very many of them.

"I don't see any black people MUST BE RACISM!" Classic.

"Recently renovated and literally ruined their store [...] Categories have gone to the wind and it's a free for all throughout the entire store."

wat

Yes, everything's moved, but it's still by and large organized logically
