So 1 day of the week I'm only available for a 4 hour shift. It's been that way for a month with no known issue to me until yesterday. When my 4 hours were up I asked who was taking the register off my hands. "You're still scheduled for 3 1/2 more hours"
The schedule they went through was the break roster I was supposedly working 1-8:30
The official printed out schedule: I had the day off
My ESchedule: 1-5
My availability: 1-5
What's going on?????
I got reprimanded for "leaving early" and if I had "a problem with the schedule I needed to speak with the schedule person 2 weeks ago"
I went by the Eschedule because it had my availability correct. I thought that was enough.
You go by the printed schedule that is posted at the front end.
Your e schedule can change at the last minute before the front end schedule is printed and posted.

Wouldn't their availability supersede the schedule maker's screw up? If the availability was approved they can't change that without the person's permission. It falls on scheduling to ask if that's okay for that in any given week.
What's happening here is that they idn't look at availability and just did it anyway then went to management after the fact to cover their own ass because you stood up for yourself. Your availability is in the computer I'd have told them to go look it up - it was approved.

Both of you are right. I've read posts on here where others have said to check the printed schedule. My co-workers tell me their schedule is messed up and I tell them to also check the printed schedule. And to the OP: compare both of your e-schedule and printed schedule. If there are any differences ask your FE lead and management.
