How many coworkers are you friends with outside of work?

Just curious, how many coworkers have you ever been friends with outside of work?

I don't really see too many of my coworkers outside of work, but i have been to a couple of people's houses, and one of my best friends is the deli manager in my store.

We went on an all day adventure today on a shopping trip. I'm just thinking how funny it is, that we had a blast today even though we see each other all the time at work. biggrin She's actually getting ready to leave soon on a promotion and while i'm sure we'll stay friends, it sucks that as department heads/management, we start to have relationships with people and then we get transferred. But it's for a good reason at least so i can't be too upset.

I mean, at my age I don't really roll with nobody any more. But I quit hangin with / adding on facebook co workers years ago, cuz it just creates too much drama. I figure, I'm already stuck with these peeps for 8--12 hrs, why I wanna go into over time?

Three.

With one, we would go to the shooting range.  Only co worker I would trust with a gun.  I let him fire my .22 after he told me that he joined the National Guard.  I think it was the first rifle he ever fired.   I think the time we talked and spent together helped him get thru boot camp.  He seemed scared before he left town.  He came back tougher and more mature.  He came back an expert on the M16.  Now, we take the ar15, 30-06, colt 45 and glock to the range.

Two others I do small engine repairs for.  I get calls from them from time to time.

None! I have family members that work for Kroger, but not at the same store as me. I have a boss who is friends with a family members fiance, but not with me. This is the same boss who is trying to get me fired. There are a few people who I would get along with out side of work, but gossip spreads too quickly at Kroger. So, I would rather not even tempt it. I want my personal life and work life to be separate. The world today is all about negativity. Everyone feels entitled. No one thinks they have to earn their way. Everyone is out to get everyone. Kroger employees don't need to know about my personal life.

I understand why people would want to keep work and personal lives separate. I wouldn't trust most of the people i work with to know certain things, thats for sure.

I'm just glad i've made at least one good friend here. I just hope that we can stay friends once she moves stores and gets her promotion... because i know it'll be tough when we work completely different schedules.

I'm friends with a couple of co-workers. All three of us are also members of the same volunteer firefighter department.

BAM! You nailed it flat. We live in a world now where even grown, straight men are acting like jr. high school bitches. I keep to myself and my inner circle-----outside of work.

Thus is the problem with some associates, they think they are to good to earn their way, and they are entitled but not talented, and they think they can manipulate their way to the top

One-ish(she can be a touch flaky sometimes, but nobody's perfect). We met during orientation and she is actually someone that is into other things than just drinking, backstabbing, gossping, being mean spirited to other people, or is incredibly needy. I've had dinners our with some other peeps from deli at times and it's nice enough. But yea, I can count on one hand how many times I've been truly invited out to something and have it be a good time. But honestly I truly don't mind it. Cause the less involved I am with most folks, the better in my opinion.

That's interesting language to use toward a lady. But I have a better idea. Get out of here and go use that language with the rest of your troll friends.

You can try hard but shes not gonna give you any pussy for being her white internet knight.

I'm so sorry for making your girlfriend, Rosy Palm, and her five sisters jealous. Bye.

So one one hand you let them go balls deep in you

That's interesting language to use toward a lady. But I have a better idea. Get out of here and go use that language with the rest of your troll friends.

Appreciate the back up Cart Warrior. Some people these days have no home training.

Some whores don't know when to shut their mouth.
