the excutive group in Louisville maybe the worst Ive ever seen.  The Vice President came to our store on a weekend and said we should have super conditions regardless if its 5 pm in the afternoon.  I feel bad for managemen, they are a good group of people. They excutive group excepts us to run departments at top notice regardless of lack of help.  And our president Mrs Reed expects stores to have a total number of out of stocks to be 50 across the store.

Of course they'll never admit it but the overwhelming majority of out of stocks are the result of corporate incompetence.  Either there won't be enough product in the warehouse, or sometimes they forget to order it completely.  Something will be on sale and the people in the stores will order it but the warehouse will be out.  Now whose fault is that?  If corporate is going to put something on sale, it is up to them to make sure there is enough product in the warehouse for all the stores.  Then there are times when you try to order something and some idiot who doesn't know what they're doing accidentally deletes it from the system.  So not only does it not show up as scratched, it doesn't even show up on the bills as being ordered

Exactly! And we're paying the price for this corporate ineptitude!!!

Of course, because they won't admit it, they have to scapegoat someone else for the problem!!! It happens all the time!!!

I also love it when a manager comes up to you and asks "Why are you out of this and why are you out of that?" and all you can say is "It got scratched" or "It got cut"...The best days are when ALL of your good selling items get cut and you have to tell this to the customers all day...Yeah, whose fault is THAT, I say, when you know damn well the product IS being ordered???!!!

You can't feed the human spirit on promises made out of thin air!

Way to go, Kroger!!!confuse
