Between being under staffed and an asst. manager who doesn't give a shhhhhhhhhhhhit we had all 3 of our co-managers in the dept doing work which is against our cba rules but whatever. I just made myself nice and cozy for half an hour on the ****ter buying and selling stock, looking at facebook, paying bills. Don't bother me not one damn bit.
You think that's something? We have a store manager that likes to "help out" in our department on occasion...Yes, we are short-staffed, but that's what the hiring process is for! In all my years of working, it is a very rare thing to have a manager "helping out" like that...This one has quite a "perfectionist" streak, too, I think...Now, we also recently acquired a young "manager trainee" that is doing some of that work, so at least the store manager has learned how to delegate a bit...I guess we're not doing the job right, so the manager feels the need to step in, too...I relate it to a coach benching all the players and going out there and hitting the home runs all by himself...Failing miserably, but still trying his college best!
Amazing how we get paid and it's the managers doing the jobs WE'RE supposed to be doing...Does that make sense to anyone?
