Dont get Caught stealing. Dont lick any pussy or penis for advancement. Eat a good lunch for work everyday but wash your hands first

 Quit.

Someone will steal, you will be held accountable as a scape goat.

always count in & out to make sure your inventory is correct.

work efficiently and carefully. don't count anything you can't see.

don't sign anything you didn't do or witness that includes deposits and armored car pickups.

assume everyone around you is a thief or hiding money.

good luck!

Take notes. If your Division has division specific notes like Houston and Fred Meyer do, make sure to get a copy. If not, there's a **** load of documents on the barneyweb, but they're a bit generalized. They'll get you through the stuff that's standard across the Enterprise, but not division specific stuff.

The hardest part is all the paperwork and line balancing. Take as much notes for this part as possible as it's the part most newbies have the most difficulty and this is where the majority of division specific procedures are.

It'll take a while to absorb all the information, don't get discouraged if it takes a while for you to get the hang of it.
