got a call for a interview to work for the state as a precrument officer. But I am a DH with Kroger and make more money then I would with the state and could be more stressfu.. do you think its worth doing?

Interview and see what the State job is all about, cant hurt to interview.  Remember a State job is normally Monday-Friday, normal business hours.  Even if you had to get a small part-time job, it might be worth it.

You should check your spelling before posting. I Googled up 'precrument officer' and got nothing. So, for me, that completely invalidates your whole point ~

Sorry misspelled..yeah but pay is less and might be more mentally stressfull and taking the risk of leaving Kroger for something I might not like

On the other hand, as a head you're capped out. At this other job you'll get raises and possibly promotions, so you could end up making more.

 

And as long as you leave on good terms, you can always come back to Kroger. I'm sure with your experience they'll be more than happy to take you back. Hell, if you're really not sure see if you can either go on leave or dip down to a part-time position with Kroger until you're sure you want the new job.

Will it only starts you at 28 thousand a year and they said you dont get slot raises.. but you get normal hours and holidays off

If you make more money as a DH, stay out for the bankroll.  I wouldn't go for a job that's more stress and less pay.
