I asked today to see the schedule. I was told they will no longer be posted in the store You have to look online. Is this the whole company? Someone said its to save on paper. I am going to buy a pack of paper out of sarcasm and put it on the managers desk with a note. Here is some paper now print the schedule.

Ive heared that as well. However, that would work IF they actually posted the schedule online, (our store has been lacking to do so as of late) and if they QUIT doing UNNECESSARY "updates" to the online achedule site itseld

As far as I know, every contract says that employees' schedules are to be posted in the store.  Can you imagine what they would try to get away with if the schedule wasn't on paper?  They could change your schedule to where it says you have to work when originally it said you had the day off.  Then when you didn't show up, they could write you up for being a no call no show.  Even if your store isn't unionaized, your schedule still has to be on paper.

I do not care anymore I give up I already told my Boss I'm not upset with her she told me to talk to the Manager that he knew why it was like this. But I told her it was absolute BS. I am asking the manager anything because it is the type of manager that is a know it all.

If I told him I had trouble with great people site he would say. It always works for me it's your device so that's why I am not saying anything. I am going to give it until next week if they still do not post it I may call HR about it.

At our store, they tell us not to go by the online schedule, but by the paper schedule. I'll be surprised if they do that since they won't be able to write us in like they do randomly.

Each store wastes hundreds of sheets of paper a day printing out useless garbage and they're worried about using a few pages to print all the schedules?

That is just what someone said. I am just going to see if it is printed next week. I did see one copy that was printed but not as many as usual I was told I was also told it's called 15 minute something they do have them printed but it's a grid type like the Front End has always had but for Customer Service.

The 15 minute charts take much more paper to print than schedules so that would be incredibly stupid.

Wouldn't surprise me though.

If it were me i'd just print one anyway for my department but i guess your department head hasn't done that.

I think someone needs to file a grievance.  To me that's a direct violation of the contract.
