This happened at my store a couple years ago. It was a mess because the grocery head was also in on it and they removed a lady from the produce department as a means of retaliation and placed her in a department that really messed with her disability and they refused to move her back. The government ended up getting involved and the lady ended up with her produce job back and some settlement money while the manager got moved to another store.
No, but I've seen a number of co workers claim they were disabled to get out of having to do basically anything of their jobs. 'I can't lift that, I have a bad back' and 'I told you I can't climb ladders, I've got a bad knee' and 'I can't move this tub of lettice, I've got Carpal Tunnel'.
Thankfully management would quickly demand paperwork to support these claims, fail to have it produced, and these annoying t w a t s would magically be on the street looking for new jobs
