Sometimes I wonder, given some of the cleaning equipment we have. It's not exactly all that great. But it's what we're stuck with.
The P&G chemicals were better. But I think Ecolab purchased the retail products of P&G. They come in checking things and never fix anything that is broke and we get a strike if we are out of something but it's Kroger that limits some things like the chemicals.
It's next to impossible to get a perfect Ecolab score. They will look for something to ding you on. They swear their chemicals are the best for everything but they aren't. We use the clorox magic scrubby wipes to get the tables in bakery and deli and hide them if Eco is coming.

Well, guess what??? We got as close as we could get...I thought we looked as ready as we were going to be and we all worked our butts off to get ready...My dept. manager was stressing over this Ecolab visit and when the time came, one of the Ecolab guys sensed how worried my manager was and actually told him that the store would have to shut down and all customers would have to vacate the building for us to get a PERFECT Ecolab score....My manager felt better after that and many of the things that HE was worried about weren't even on Ecolab's radar...So, getting a perfect score is next to impossible without closing the store! In fact, I'd love to hear about ANY department that's EVER had a perfect score...It's as if they have to find SOMETHING wrong, however trivial, just to have something to write down...If everything were perfect, there'd be nothing to write down! Of course, you can't let things fall apart in your departments...OTOH, you can't obsess over what's not in your control, either...
