Issues at my store for clicklist
Permalink

I hope I dont get in trouble for doing this forum

I have noticed issues at my store I have been doing clicklist for about a month now I was trained at different stores and had bigger space like walk in coolers and freezers now its like 4 cash registers can fit inside this room Im working in its cramped having my supervisor two store managers that keep coming in and Im training two people and staging orders and picking its so small I want the area to be bigger I have actually suggested the idea of Making the area bigger  hey they spent 8000 on warmer that we have only used once you cant even order something off the website for it waste of money why not increase our area for working. I think that you got one hour to get the order complete before the customer arives But my manger said its when it hits the time the customer should be expected to come so many issues and a lot of higher ups are using my store and the managers go ****ing crazy about like you need to do this right I know what Im ****ing doing like I got off break yesterday and ****ing two manger where there because 4 people showed up at one time but the people I left there were trainees I have actually not taken breaks some days because Im training people or I dont have anyone to cover or if I leave Im leaving a trainee alone or someone with little experience I take things seriously but if you mess up my work space I wanna say something to you but it will ruin my chance to continue working Im walking to work on the weekdays because I dont have a.  License  im trying to save up for one and I plan on buying one in 9 months and transfer to a different store I dont like this store to small Im too big for such a little working space

this post should not give any  punishment to the writer or anyone suspected of

I just need to vent

You wont get punished for speaking your mind here. Hopefully you transfer to a better store but you should look elsewhere for a job. Kroger is a garbage place to work at.

Just curious are you the clicklist lead? Or just a trusted employee to train people?

Clicklist has a lot of issues across the enterprise i feel like. My store hasn't had a supervisor for at least 3 months and it shows, they have absolutely no direction and even though the co's are always helping they still have lots of issues. The marketplace 20 miles away has a teeny tiny backroom because they outgrew it already (the store is only a few years old) and they barely have room to stage their orders. They get over 100 orders a day.

You won't be in trouble here as long as you stay anonymous. Even if Kroger corporate does look at this, they can't prove who any of us really are.

If you decide to leave, pinch off a turd and leave it in one of the store's ventilation heating and air conditioning unit.

Go out with a bang.

I work in clicklist in a small store, I don't have a car and I want to transfer too. I work hard but get treated like trash. My store manager told me it's supposed to be an hour before, but my lead keeps saying up till pick up time is good, so I don't know.

You are supposed to have your trolley back one hour before the scheduled pick-up time. So, if all your trolley sticks say 8:00 on them, then the policy is have the trolley back there and totes staged no later than 7:00. Always go by the time on your first sticker since not all stickers will always have the same time, but the first sticker will always have the earliest time. Staging totes at least one hour in advance gives the e-Commerce Supervisor or Lead time to review subs/look for outs/make price corrections.

Depending on the size/volume of a store, a store may or may not have an e-Commerce Supervisor. If your store does, he/she should be taking responsibility for what is happening in the department/taking steps to correct problems.

If your store does not have an e-Commerce Supervisor, then your store definitely has a Lead and that Lead should be taking responsibility.

Even in stores like mine with an e-Commerce Supervisor and two Leads, there are some closing shifts where it's just selectors and attendants. Someone (but preferably two or more) in that group has to know how to do many of the same tasks that the e-Commerce Supervisor and Leads perform, like coupons/price adjustments/processing online payment/look for outs and add/remove items from orders as needed/etc... and if you're the only one in the group that knows how to do that, then you have to plan your break accordingly so you're not leaving people back there that don't know how to do stuff on the register and computer, especially when customers show up.

If you're scheduled as one of the closers, then you know you're one of the "trusted" ones, just like if you're scheduled as one of the openers, you know you're one of the "trusted" ones because openers have to know how to do service counter, print the order strips and sort in the proper order, do the morning paperwork including review orders not picked up from the previous day and so on.

I understand this but will the system show an order as late if you finish staging it at 7:20, but pick up is at 8?

No. An order will be flagged as late if any one or more of the totes is staged after the scheduled pick-up time. So if we go by the times in your post, anything staged after 8:00 is flagged as a late order in the system because the pick-up time is 8:00-9:00.
