So today, I had a lady **** up the lottery machine in the lobby and they flagged me down for help. They needed their money out of the machine. I told them, I'm not authorized to fix it, but I'll get a manager who can. Of course, I go look and the one manager who can is busy helping other customers at the service desk. So I go back and tell her that the manager is busy and will be with her in a couple minutes.
Oh, no. No, no, no, no. She tells me that's not good enough and that she is in a hurry and needs to go. That it's not her problem. It is indeed my problem and that I need to fix it.
Lol, how is it my problem? I get that, I am an employee of Kroger and that I represent the company to a customer. But the fact of the matter is... I'm not authorized to fix it, the manager is busy, and she's gonna have to wait and miss her event or appointment or whatever. Plain and simple. What does she expect, for me to stop everything and run around the store looking for a miracle that will get her money back from the machine? Lol
Anyway. 5 minutes later, the CSM was free of the service desk and was able to get her money out of the machine.
You could have at least made a show of attempting to help her out. But that wouldn't fit in place with your 'fk you, it's all about ME' attitude. Maybe if this shoe were on your foot you'd have some empathic understanding of what other's needs are, but I doubt it.
Someone is very likely going to beat the stinky dog sh!t out of you, probably right on the sales floor, and just knowing that will have to suffice-----as I hopefully will never in this life actually see your worthless ass.
There really isn't a way to "make a show of attempting to help her out." When it comes to the lotto machine, you need the keys to do anything with it, and if you are not permitted/ authorized to do so your hands are tied. What would you have them do? blow into the bill acceptor? Jiggle the door? I honestly don't know what you are asking them to do. I mean, certainly apologize and all that, try to explain the situation, but there is no reason to risk your job because someone was in a hurry.
Haha, Mr. Frontenac is in a "Special" store, with a lot or "special" customers. All you can do it say, the authorized person knows there is an issue and will be out shortly. If you want to try to fix the machine, just hit or kick it like a customer would and be like "Well it didn't work, Sorry" or just unplug it and be like "Well that didn't fix it either".

Ignore them. They're just a troll fishing for a negative reaction. Nothing they post makes any rational sense or is of any use to this forum.
