This is maybe the best, most comprehensive and unflinchingly accurate description of black identity in the USA I've ever read. There are exceptions, of course, but this covers the vast majority of black Americans today.
It's not racism if it's correct. And besides---everyone in this world has always been and always will be racist. It's not even just human nature, it goes back to our animal instincts, put in place for good survival reasons.

I know that there is true racism scattered among the people of the United States......here and there, but a small minority of people who don't like other people for reasons such as skin color, ethnicity, language, religion, etc. But the truth is that MOST Americans are not racist. They are just trying to get along with their lives and make the best of it. At my local Kroger store, and any where else I go, I see no real evidence of racism, people basically get along pretty well with everyone else. Sure,there will be a few here and there that try to make a big scene and get everybody riled up.
The media (and I mean radio stations, TV stations, websites, newspapers, magazines, etc) and both political parties, esp Democrats, but Republicans as well, are the BIGGEST proponents of racism. They cherry-pick incidents around the country and PUBLICIZE them 24/7. in an effort to make EVERYBODY think the whole country is racist from coast to coast. It is a shame how corrupt the media have become. Meanwhile most of us regular people just go around and mind our own business. The media makes their money by getting more people to watch the news , so they have a REASON to hype everything and make it sound worse than it really is!!!!
