Is the required case minimum for frozen 40 cases per hour?
I don't know. I believe you're suppose to divide the cases by some number. But 40 is pretty slow. I do about 60 minimum in dry grocery, my highest is around 80 to 90, but that's on a really good day and I'm jacked on caffeine ( which I don't use as much anymore, because it makes me dizzy ). At our store we have to do 55 minimum cases per hour, that's in all departments. Frozen in our store is suffering really bad. The guy who leads it is slow as hell and his helper ain't making the situation any better.
I just started Frozen Lead a week ago, and I only do about 45 a hour, but I don't know where most things are, and I require a step stool as i'm short. At my store though there is no helper, you only get someone else in frozen on the 2 days you're off a week, and it's a 12am-6am guy. When I did dry Grocery I was around 80-90 a hour however.
I started 4 days ago right now I'd say I'm averaging about 40. Frozen there is the lead, me and one other guy who fills in for lead his 2 days off, me my 2 days off and works another night with me.

I think it's due to the cold where there's a much slower case count. But I do about 55 in Frozen. If you don't know where everything is, IT's gonna' be harder to stock faster. Once you get the hang of it, you'll go faster. Good luck, you're gonna need it. They're gonna' be bouncing your hours around like a basketball, so get ready to be alone alot most of the time.
