Tomorrow i am scheduled off as it states on the paper schedule and e-schedule. But when i looked ahead on the checkstand profile they print daily (tomorrow's profile already printed out) it states that i am working 8:45am-5:00pm (Not handwritten in). Should i just not show up at all? I have a copy of my weekly schedule in my phone and i already made plans for tomorrow so how much trouble may i be in when i don't show up?
You should have rechecked the posted schedule. It can be changed before noon on Saturday. They usually post "front end, check schedule for changes" near our time clocks.
It will be a no call, no show if they legally changed the schedule in time on Saturday.
You can try to say that you were not aware of the schedule change.
Talk to your manager, and inform him of the difference. There may be a reason for the change. Even if the schedule has been set. I would look over the profile for that day thoroughly. Maybe someone isn't coming in at that time and you were chosen as a filler. You could try and claim that you didn't "see the. Hange" however, if someone saw you looking at the profile it could pose a problem. Check first and let your manager make the final call.

The printed schedule is the one you go by. Just make sure you're looking at the right date and not next week's schedule. The checkstand profile is for the supervisor. So you should have no need to look at it. If the paper schedule says you're off and it's the right date, then you take off. Yes, they can make changes to the schedule up until Saturday at 6:00 PM, but that's for the next week's schedule. Once the work week starts, they can't make any changes to your schedule without your knowledge or permission.
Call out. If you don't just show up it'll be worse. Spiking doesn't promote the best reputation. If you can reschedule your plans last minute do it. If you can't and it's a real appointment like a doctor's appointment legally you can show up for it and just arrive to work late or leave early. Legally we can do this according to union rules. Just ask the nurse to write you a note that says you attended.
