One of my coworkers decided to just leave in the middle of his shift and not come back for hours later. Apparently his playing hooky was approved but no one told us until hours later. We know hes not doing what he says he is but apparently its allowed. Why wont this guy get fired for not showing up for assigned shifts? Hes about as bad as others who decided to make their own shifts and short staff the department.
If it was approved that he can leave early there's nothing you can do. It doesn't even matter if the reason he asked to leave early was true or not. Kroger isn't his parent and neither are you. If it was approved then that's the end of it.
