I'm excited our store management is changing. Doesn't mean it'll be any better but this batch of management sure has some flaky individuals that are going bye bye. Maybe the new ones will crack down on employees that are only here because the union says you can't fire them. After coming from a high key retailing store I'm stupefied how this store is even in operation with such flaky staff. The side departments are hard workers but the front end needs some spring cleaning.
Your new store manager has only been on the job 4 days, and the store already seems cleaner and more organized. Sweeping happens regularly, and the vendors aren't allowed to just dump their **** wherever they want. Hopefully the old guy's drinking buddies who he hired as do-nothing day runners and overnight clerks will be the next to go.
I thought the same thing when my store had a SM change. This new one is the biggest do nothing ever. You ask him why can this be done right and how about we follow the rules. He says yes I agree but does nothing.
