I've never had to deal with this but my coworkers have had to.

My store managers seem to punish people for arriving late but that's it.  Anything else seems to slide and they don't care.

They do not punish people for making up their own schedule, showing up when they want, leaving early, never going to lunch, or deciding to abuse the call in privilege, leave in the middle of a shift then come back to finish it without valid reason nor proof of actually going to it and so on.  The store I work for is pretty flaky and unfortunately it all starts with management.
