Hi all, I just hired in in the Cinci division and I wanted to vent a sec. Every shift I work some manager or front end super NEVER wants me to take a break, even for a 8 hr shift. That's bull. Anyone else having this??
If it's your break or lunch just go. Don't let them see you leave. When asked just say by law you are entitled to a break and lunch and you follow that law to a T. Be prepared for retaliation if they are jerks.
Tell your manager if you don't get your breaks you'll be reporting them to the union. I had to do that and they changed their tune real fast. They still screw over other people who don't speak up, but if you kick up a fuss you'll get your breaks.
