That's uncharacteristic of you; I hear that's a great time.  Didn't you post pictures of that sort of thing recently?

Somehow, I've obtained enough seniority to take Easter off this year and spent the holiday with my family.  That honestly means a lot, as this is the last Easter at my Grandma's house.  Her mind has been ...slipping the last couple years.  In fact, it's probably one of the last, if not the last, holiday there.  She completely forgot Christmas (despite the tree and decorations she herself put up), but she was almost completely there this time.    It was probably my aunt's last Easter.  She's a bit senile and hasn't really recovered from a fall.

The other year I had to work, so I had chugged a whole bunch of wine before I came in.  It helped a lot and the hours flew by, except it shortened my temper quite a bit.  I think the worst thing about it was the customers who wished me a happy Easter or even apologized for shopping.  If they weren't shopping, I wouldn't have to be there.  It was a struggle not to tell them that.  In retrospect, perhaps I should have.

First of all, I would like to offer my respects and prayers for your grandmother. Secondly, what am I being uncharacteristic about?
